Solent Summer Dance Festival is a ONE DAY only competition for solo dancers. The festival is open to dancers who have scored 84 or above in the sections they enter.
All our age groups and timings apply as per our standard festivals - please visit our Ages & Time Limits page for further information.
Our sections available to enter are:
Ballet / Modern Jazz / Tap / Acro / Lyrical OR Contemporary / Song & Dance
Each competitor will receive a certificate and feedback from a professional adjudicator. Medals will also be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd places with trophies in some sections.
Entry fees are £6 per solo.
Due to the limited time restraints of a one day festival we are only allowing a maximum of 25 entries per dance school until Sunday 30 April. If we still have space after this date we will allow additional entries until the festival is full. All entry fees and music must be with us by the final closing date of 31 May 2023.
We will continue to accept independent entries with dance school approval.
